We welcome you to come and see what hunting is all
about! Our staff is as experienced as you will find. With over 3000 acres of
prime pheasant hunting habitat, an abundance of wild pheasants, and thousands of
ducks and geese, we will undoubtedly get you into the birds. We will also take
care of cleaning and packing your game.
Location
We are located in Watertown, South Dakota.
Lodging
Motels are conveniently located right in Watertown. The owners are very
accommodating to hunters, and will go out of their way to please. Dogs
are permitted.
Dogs
We provide excellent hunting dogs, consisting of a German Short-haired
Pointer, Small Munsterlanders, and Brittany Spaniels. These dogs have
all been NAVHDA Natural Ability tested, and have been awarded prizes.
Thousands of birds have been harvested over these dogs. However, your
dogs are always welcome.
Before and After the Hunt
Breakfast is on your own, with a snack served in the field. Watertown
is home to fine restaurants, where you can enjoy delicious prime rib,
fresh walleye, buffalo steaks, or many other selections every evening.
What to Bring
South Dakota weather can change in minutes. Please be prepared for anything.
One thing is for sure--bring lots of shells!
Hunting Options
Watertown is home to some of the best hunting opportunities in the state,
bar none.
Pheasant season starts on Saturday
October 18th 2008 and typically ends on December 31st. You may purchase
a license upon arrival.
Waterfowl hunting is absolutely
superior, with an early reduction season for local Canadian geese in September.
The guides will supply the decoys, which are of the highest quality. Applications
for waterfowl licenses can be downloaded
here, or call (605-773-3381) to request
one by mail. Waterfowl applications must be postmarked by July 11, 2008.

Pheasant Hunts
Limit 3 birds per day, 15 bird possession limit
Adults $175 per gun per day
15 and under $100 per gun per day
Waterfowl Hunts
Limit varies, depending on season
Adults $150 per gun per day
15 and under $125 per gun per day
A 50% deposit is required upon reserving your hunt. This is refundable
until August 1, 2008. After that date, the deposit is not refundable.
