If you have Mac OS 9 or OS X and an iDisk, and you are using the HomePage feature of Apple’s .Mac, URLs must be in the format http://homepage.mac.com/username/.foldername/, where username is your .Mac username and foldername is one of the six folders on your iDisk (Documents, Movies, Music, Pictures, Public, Sites). The default folder is Sites. Documents is normally for private files, Public is for files you want to share with other .Mac users, and Sites is for the HTML files that make up your Apple HomePage site. The dot must precede the name of the folder. You may have other folders within the six top-level folders.
