MediaGlyphs Contributions

MediaGlyphs Contributions

I have contributed pictures for the following to the MediaGlyphs project, in no particular order (the last two have been amended on the main MG site to include pink highlighting): Mr. Insana has given me a copy of his androgynous human figure and various props for use in Poser 5. (I have given up on DAZ Studio after being unable to get past the Tell-a-Friend message during installation.) I hope to devise culturally neutral glyphs for the following: Abstractions are a lower priority at present than picturable concepts, especially as the MediaGlyphs project strives to avoid any kind of bias. Clickable prototype MediaGlyphs appear as the first 10 GIF images in the second table below; they have been converted to PNG format and otherwise modified for the main MediaGlyphs site. The first table contains links to PNG images I created later that were approved by Mr. Insana; the third table contains my pending glyphs. I currently use Cinema 4D, Meshwork and Poser 5 for Mac OS X.

Mr. Insana is concerned about the low-resolution output of the unregistered version of Terragen. I have had difficulty finding vector-art software (the Chlor project looks promising, and I am experimenting with OmniGraffle), so I am using Color It!™ with the following fonts:

Matthew White has pointers to other pictographic writing systems.
